During a Lumeta Network Assurance, Lumeta consultants will provide pre-sales support and work with the client to define the scope and evaluation criteria for the final deliverable based on the client’s infrastructure, network and risk management processes, and business landscape. The Lumeta consultants will handle all configurations, conduct the scan, and analyze the objective set of network facts that IPsonar produces.

The final Lumeta Network Assurancedeliverable includes a sampling of the results of the IPsonar scan in a key findings report, and the executive summary of the Lumeta Network Index™ (LNI) risk scorecard. A baseline of a portion of the client’s network is generated and potential vulnerabilities are pinpointed during the survey process in two key steps:

• IPAddress SpaceValidation - A lightweight IPsonar scan is administered to determine actual address space usage and reach. Initial anomalies are reviewed for scan optimization.

• Network and DeviceAssessment – IPsonar tests the perimeter, internally routed space, filtering/ACLs, routing loops, and SNMP management strength. Once this is completed, address population, transport layer hardening, leaks,wireless base stations, filtering/ACLs, and broadcasters are all tested.
